I often get asked where Dorado the Nostr Pup came from. He was a shelter rescue, born 5 years ago this week.
So many puppies never get to see the outside of shelters, as there are more abandoned dogs than families able to adopt them.
My search led me to a two woman team from a small town in upstate New York near the Catskill Mountains, who bring dogs back from Puerto Rico and find loving homes for them.
I’ve stayed in contact and send pictures from time to time. They currently have two pups available for adoption. If anyone reading this has space in their life for a new member of the family, drop a line and I’ll be glad to put you in touch.
The black dog is a 1 year old male named Juno. The light brown one is a 2 year old female named Trixie.
They also accept donations to continue their rescue work. 💜🐶🤙
