Thank you ∞ Thursday 58kk for correcting me, it was closer to 32,000, not 50,000 BTC that Draper bought from the U.S. Marshals in 2014.
That would also mean the price was closer to $600 per coin, since it was earlier in the year before the market bottomed out.
